Rapid lateral flow tests (LFTs)

The guidance in England has changed. You now can only order a free NHS COVID test if you are eligible.

If you used a home test kit, you’ll get a result in 10 to 30 minutes depending on the type of rapid lateral flow test you have taken.

The test kit instructions will tell you the time you need to wait before reading your result.

If you did an NHS rapid lateral flow test, you should report the result of a home test as soon as possible.
